About NYSAES

The New York State Agricultural Experiment Station is an integral part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University. Located in Geneva, NY – the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region, the Station is about an hour's drive from Ithaca, Syracuse and Rochester.
The Station was established in 1880 and became a part of Cornell University in 1923, and includes over 700 acres of land, orchards and vineyards. Over 300 researchers including faculty, staff and students work to safeguard New York’s production of fruits and vegetables, develop new crops, enhance food safety for consumers, and promote economically viable farming solutions.
