FixWordSystemMemory - From the Abstract: "Several people have reported problems starting up Word 5.1a on certain PowerPC machines. Sometimes you get a message that not enough System Memory is available. Usually, launching some other app will solve the problem by expanding the system heap so that it contains enough free memory. The enclosed INIT will allocate and immediately free a 96K block in the system heap when Word starts up. That seems to create enough free space to allow it to start up." Freeware, by Larry Rosenstein.

PowerComputing was sold to Apple and no longer has a web site of their own. For PowerComputing support see either the PowerWatch or Apple web site.
