North Seneca Ambulance
Volunteers Serving Northern Seneca County, New York

North Seneca Ambulance was organized and incorporated on December 22, 1975, and began operations on January 1, 1976. North Seneca was the first volunteer ambulance service to be certified by the state. Certification requires that each ambulance carries certain equipment and that an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is in charge at every response. North Seneca currently handles about 2000 calls per year.

We need volunteers - can you help? The volunteers fill many positions including Dispatchers, Assistants, Drivers, EMTs, and office work. We have a very good training program that insures that no volunteer is asked to perform tasks that they are not qualified for or comfortable performing. If helping people is something you would like to do, we have a job for you.
