Date: Fri, 08 Nov 1996 17:21:50 -0700 After my last posting regarding adding manual on/off control to an appliance module, and based on some of the questioning responses I received, it has come to my attention that most people seem to be blindly working with and modifying these modules without benefit of schematics (e.g. remove diode next to blue thing; remove third resistor from left upper corner, etc). To help answer some of the appliance module questions, the following uuencode is a .jpg picture of the appliance module schematic. Someday, if time permits, I will also post the lamp module schematic. I make no claims to accuracy (though I have used it for several years without detecting any), nor any responsibility due to mishaps regarding the high voltage nature of X10 devices (remember: these are 100vac devices with LIVE grounds. Treat them accordingly).
