Asparagus Beetle - Damage to Asparagus
 
Asparagus is the only known host. Both the adult and larva feed on the leaves and the tips of the shoots. They both will cause a brown scarring on the shoots. The larvae also secrete a black fluid that stains the plant. Severe injury will weaken the crown of the plant. AB Damage to Asparagus
