Asparagus
Beetle - Damage to Asparagus
|
| Asparagus is the only known host. Both
the adult and larva feed on the leaves and the tips of the shoots.
They both will cause a brown scarring on the shoots. The larvae
also secrete a black fluid that stains the plant. Severe injury
will weaken the crown of the plant. |
