Spotted Tentiform Leafminer 2nd flight began 6/15. Degree days (base 43°F) since then = 1153. Codling Moth flight began 5/19; DD50 since then = 1059. 1st Apple Maggot caught in Geneva 7/27. 1st Comstock Mealybug crawlers caught 7/27 (Wayne Co. pears). Sprays to control 2nd brood in WNY should be applied this week. |
