The following are a variety of possible Wine and Beer Log formats. Please feel free to use these, or to create your own:
Wine Log
Another Wine Log Format (pdf)
Beer Log

Winery/Brewery Reports: Don't forget that the winery or brewery reports are due the same day as the wine and beer logs! This 1 to 2 page report details a visit you made to a local winery or brewery (including the name of the place, date of your visit, and the names of the people you spoke with), and contains information on the processes, techniques, equipment, etc. that you saw, as well as comments from the winemakers, etc. How has what you learned in class influenced this experience? Other thoughts?

Attendance make-ups: The first offered, good for up to 2 missed lectures, or one full day - write up a 2 or 4 page response to the New York Times article "The Hard Stuff Now Includes Wine" by Eric Asimov (2 pages per make-up lecture)
