Pherolist Help: The Recipe Book
The recipe book makes up the main part of the Pherolist. It contains one web page for each genus; you can navigate between genera with the arrows in the menu on the left side (not visible here). The information found in the literature is grouped into 6 columns labeled A to F.

A Genus and species. Highlighted names link to the Picture Book. A moth next to the species name means you will find picture; otherwise only common names are given.
B Chemical components, each linked to a page with full name, structure and occurrence (Chemistry Book).
C a biologically active.
D Relative amounts. With code n in column F, amounts are in nanograms per female; with L figures are proportions in the synthetic lure.
E
Identification status:

F For references, only the first author is given, followed by periodical, first page and the year of publication. What follows is the key to the amount of components (nanograms or lure). You can find the full name of the periodical or book by clicking on the short form. If you just hold the cursor over the link, the message box shows the English common name of the insect species or the full name of the chemical or journal od publication.
If you are done with this, you can click in the picture to go to the Spilonota page in the recipe book or use the back button of your browser to go the previous page.
