photo Aurea "Tina" Carrasco Gupton Ph.D. '96, a native of the Canary Islands, is a viticulture and enology graduate of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Her research at Cornell involved the study of instrumental and sensory perceptions of haze in wine and grape juice. She completed a post doc at Elf Acquitaine in Lacq, France. She worked for Gallo Wineries, Perten Instruments and S.C Johnson. She is currently employed by Kerry Ingredients and Flavors. Her E-mail address is tina.gupton@kerrygroup.com.
Portrait photo Isidoros Dalezios M.S. '98 is a food science graduate of the Agricultural University of Athens. At Cornell he studied the application of fuzzy logic to microorganism identification. He completed his Ph.D. in Athens and is currently employed as Quality Control Manager at Creta Farm (a meat processer) on the island of Crete. His E-mail address is dalezios@yahoo.com.
Portrait photo Chang-Ping Hsiao M.S. '98 is a food science graduate of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei. At Cornell he studied the inhibition of growth of microoganisms by organic acids. Portrait photo Li-Chen "John" Wu Ph.D. '99 has a B.S. in food science from Fu Jen Catholic University and an M.S. in food science & technology with a concentration in food microbiology from Cornell. He characterized the haze-active proteins in apple juice for his Ph.D. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Applied Chemistry Department at National Chi-Nan University in Puli, Nantou, Taiwan. Portrait photo Jing-Iong "Bill" Yang Ph.D. '99 has a B.S. in food science and an M.S. in food engineering from National Taiwan University. At Cornell he developed a dye-binding method for determination of haze-active protein in beer.
