Observations, suspicions, history |
M.27 can be a good choice for use in high density plantings by experienced growers on sites with high fertility and vigor when using large fruited, vigorous scion varieties. Other uses are not recommended due to extremely low vigor of the rootstock. M.27 is susceptible to simazine in the nursery. Irrigation is always recommended for M.27 orchards. |
