Observations, suspicions, history |
P.18 is a vigorous rootstock noted for its horizontal rooting habit that may be useful in poorly drained sites. The primary advantage P.18 provides over seedling rootstocks is uniformity. P.18 might also be useful for very specific applications with dwarfing interstems. P.18 may prove commercially useful on a limited basis for use with spur type scions on poor sites. |
