Summary: Note of March, 1998
Several Pinot gris clones are available now
We have little experience with them
Ohio State Univesity is presently evaluating them
In spite of compact clusters, bunch rot is rare. The variety is consistantly productive demonstrating cold hardiness similar to Pinot noir. Wine quality suggests that the variety may be recommened for sparkling and still white wine production.
