Instructions to Authors

Oral Presentations
Each oral presentation will be given 15 minutes (13 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for questions). Computer projection will be available. Presentations must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint and saved to a CD or a flash drive. Upon arrival contact the audio visual desk and transfer your presentation to the symposium computer and review to resolve any incompatibility issues.

Poster Presentations
The size of the posters must be within 90cm width X 120cm height. Posters must be displayed from Monday Aug. 4 at 8:30am until Friday Aug. 8 at 5:00pm. Posters can be mailed to the secretary of the symposium but must be received in advance of the conference.

Manuscripts
All oral and poster papers are expected to submit a manuscript (8 page maximum). Invited papers must submit a manuscript (16 page limit). Please follow the Acta Horticulturae guidelines which can be found at the ISHS website (http://www.ishs.org/wri/pap1.htm) when preparing manuscripts. Please use Microsoft Word when preparing manuscripts. The deadline for submission of completed papers is Aug. 8, 2008. Please send an electronic copy by email as an attached file or give a disk to the symposium secretary during the symposium.
