Call for Abstracts

      Participants interested in presenting either an oral paper or a poster are invited to submit an abstract.  Authors of accepted contributions presented at the Symposium will be expected to submit a complete manuscript for publication.  All papers will be reviewed by 2 independent reviewers and accepted papers will be published in Acta Horticulturae by the International Society for Horticultural Science.  All participants will receive a copy of the Abstracts and the Acta Horticulturae volume when it is published.

      The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 31, 2008, and Aug. 8, 2008 for full papers.  Abstracts may be submitted online using the online submission form below.

Please upload abstarcts as a Word document file or as a pdf file if Word is not available.

If it is not possible to submit abstracts via the worldwide web then emailed abstracts sent to Nancy Long, npl1@cornell.edu will be accepted.  At least one of the authors must register for the symposium.  Failure to register by the registration deadline will result in removal of the abstract from the program.  The paper should not have been previously published and must be scientifically sound.  All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee.  Acceptance/rejection of abstracts will be communicated to authors by May 1, 2008.
