Welcome to The New York State Seed Testing Laboratory Established in 1882, the lab has always prided itself in providing high quality, non-biased seed results to residents, growers and seed companies. Since 1912, the lab has been established as the official regulatory laboratory for New York State. By conducting regulatory tests on New York State inspection samples, the lab attempts to ensure truth in labeling for the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. Today the lab continues to provide its services on a fee basis to a wide range of clientele. Thank you for visiting our web site and please come back often to see what's sprouted!
Please note: As of October 15th, NYSSTL no longer be accepts samples from out-of-state sources |
