first contact Thomas Björkman (787-2218). He can help select a
scientists to contact.
The main contact at the Colleges is David Craig (781-3611 or
craig@hws.edu).
You are welcome to simply call or email the scientist you are
interested in working with directly and make arrangements.
In a short conversation it is usually easy to come up with a
demonstration or activity that fits well with your curriculum and your
students needs. It is easiest to schedule a few months in advance and
work out the details closer to the actual time. At the Experiment
Station, most laboratories can only accommodate 2 or 3 people for hands
on work, so it is usually much easier to bring the project to the
school. Hobart & William Smith Colleges can handle groups, when
classes are not in session.
