Science On Seneca
Science on Seneca enables local science teachers to use The William Scandling, Hobart and William Smith Colleges' 65 ft. research vessel, as a floating outdoor classroom. This experience allows high school science teachers an opportunity to demonstrate to their students the methods and resources of college level environmental study. Teachers can use the activities they and their classes experience on board The William Scandling, and the Science on Seneca website, to create hands-on, standards-based course of study for their students.
